Frequently Asked Questions

    Landscaping & Lawn Care

  • Do you offer discounts if we get our neighbors together and do several house’s at the same time?
Yes, we do! We also can organize special pricing for property managers, landlords, housing or condo associations as well who need multiple units cleaned. Please call or text Scott at 770-533-2806 to discuss details.
  • What kind of lawn mowers do you use?
    Your answer here
  • How often will you service my property if I am on your yearly program
We will average 47 property visits and services over the course of the calendar year, or about once every 7 days. Each visit includes landscape maintenance like bed and hard surface clean up. In the growing season we will be visiting weekly, and then a little less frequently in the winter when your property doesn’t need quite as much attention. Your service may be started mid season, so give us a call when you are ready to get started!
  • What will Aeration Service do for my lawn?
Core aeration is a beneficial service that removes small cores of soil and allows the grass plant access to more water and oxygen for the root system. This process will also help in the repair of bare and thinning areas of your turf.
  • How often should I have pine straw installed?
We recommend installing pine straw at least once a year.
  • Why should I install mulch?
A good layer of mulch will reduce evaporation from the soil, improve the penetration of water, help control the fluctuation of soil temperatures protecting plants from the damage of extremely cold temperatures, add nutrients to the soil as the mulch decomposes, and suppresses the growth of weeds.

  • Pressure Washing Questions

  • Is mold dangerous? Can mold damage my property value?
Yes, mold and mildew on and around your home create unhealthy conditions for those with asthma and allergies. Through our safe methods in pressure washing and soft washing, we can safely and effectively remove organic growth (mold, mildew) from any exterior surface. This will help keep you and your family safe and healthy. And it safeguards your property from much more costly repairs.
  • Will pressurized water be forced under my siding?
ABSOLUTELY-NOT! We use our soft low pressure method when spraying your house. The tools and techniques, including low pressure and soft washing, used by St. Louis Pressure Wash are more effective cleaning at low pressure than the low cost, less than professional, companies that use more pressure. We use a well thought out technique that both cleans and protects your property.
  • What are the dark stains on my siding? Can they be removed?
The dark stains you are seeing is mold. All mold needs to grow is moisture (humidity) and a food source and it will grow anywhere. Mold can be removed with low pressure and the right cleaning agents.
  • Why does wood turn gray? Can you restore the color?
Wood turns gray because it is being exposed to water and the sun. In order to prevent your wood from turning gray, stain and seal your deck or fence routinely. Pressure washing should never be used on wood. We always use low-pressure soft washing techniques to clean wood decks, fences and trim.
  • What are the benefits of pressure washing?
Just to name a few benefits of pressure washing is eliminating mold and mildew, better curb appeal, safety, and increased property value.
  • Do I need to be home when you’re working on my property?
Not at all. However, if you won’t be home when we are servicing your property, We do require that you close all windows, clear your driveway or deck of all items such as furniture, grills, planters, etc., and remove any fragile decorations on your home or deck.
  • Are all pressure washing companies the same?
Anyone can purchase a pressure washer. Simply owning a pressure washing machine and advertising that you offer a service doesn’t mean you can operate it effectively. A pressure washer in the hands of an unskilled operator can cause a great deal of damage such as damaged, plants and lawn killed, siding blown off, paint peeled from house, and even concrete cut and etched.
  • I'm told my siding and deck are zero maintenance. Is this true?
Low maintenance yes, zero maintenance no. Anything left outside in the sun and humidity will get dirty. Your car gets dirty sitting in your driveway, so does your house and deck.
